1. What are Authentication Tokens?
At Reliquary of the Sands, we utilize small data markers, commonly referred to as cookies, to manage your entry into the Antiquarian's Vault. These authentication tokens are simple pieces of text assigned to your profile access when you register or log in. They serve a single, critical purpose: allowing the platform to recognize that you have an active Curator Profile, so you do not have to repeatedly enter your passphrase every time you navigate between our artifact games.
Our implementation is strictly functional. We do not use these tokens to track your behavior across other websites, nor do we use them for invasive advertising. They are entirely dedicated to ensuring your free social casino experience runs smoothly.
2. Essential Access Markers
The tokens we employ are categorized as strictly necessary or essential. Because our platform relies on hiding the game controls behind an "Unlock Vault" prompt until you authenticate, these markers are required to lift that restriction. They ensure that your virtual balance of Scarab Tokens is displayed correctly and that your recent play history is updated seamlessly as you interact with the games.
Without these essential markers, the vault doors would remain sealed, and the platform would be unable to provide the premium narrative experience Antiquarian Virtual Entertainment Ltd has curated.
3. Managing Your Preferences
Because our tokens are strictly necessary for the operation of your Curator Profile, we do not provide a toggle to disable them while using the platform. If you prefer not to have an active authentication session, you have the option to log out of your profile, which effectively removes the active marker.
If you encounter a loading issue or if the games fail to recognize your virtual balance, you may need to reset your profile access. This can usually be accomplished by logging out and logging back in, which refreshes the authentication token.
4. Session Expiration
To protect your account access, your authentication token is not designed to last forever. A standard session expires 7 days after your last activity within the vault. Once the expiration period is reached, you will simply be prompted to enter your passphrase again to unlock the games and access your Scarab Tokens.
If the system detects a malformed or invalid token—often the result of a corrupted loading state—it will prompt an immediate, silent logout to protect your recent play history and restore the platform's security.
5. Data Definitions
| Session Token | A temporary marker that proves you have successfully authenticated your Curator Profile. |
| Profile Access | The state of being logged into the vault, allowing you to view and use your virtual balance. |
| Loading Issue | A technical interruption that can often be resolved by logging out and refreshing your session token. |
Experiencing Access Issues?
If your virtual balance is not updating or you are continuously asked to unlock the vault despite logging in, please contact the Chief Curator at curator@bookofthefallen-spiel.com. We can help you troubleshoot and reset your profile access.
